Roger Keane 

Chairman & Co-Founder

Roger has over twenty years of private equity and investment experience. Before founding Oceania Equity, he held several executive positions across a range of businesses, industries, and continents working with well know firms like Warburg Pincus, GE Capital, McKinsey & Co, and the Virgin Group.

Ignited by a passion for investing and entrepreneurship, he specialises in expansion stage capital, international market development, and sales process management.  Roger looks for opportunities to acquire or invest in high-growth businesses in almost any sector with a long-term, buy-and-hold strategy.

Roger has invaluable experience and knowledge in the private equity industry. Currently, he is a Director of businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Chile operating in sectors ranging from manufacturing to software, and agriculture.

He has been married to Mayra for 27 years and they have two adult children.  Roger currently splits his time between homes in Singapore and Chile.  

Mitch Black

Managing Director & Co-Founder

Mitch is a seasoned business manager with an electronics background and operational focus. His hands-on approach enables the companies he manages to maximise growth and value. Mitch thrives on improving operational efficiencies and delivering on key projects to promote business growth through effective strategy, KPI establishment, gap analysis, QMS implementation, purchasing and inventory control, project delivery, IT, SEO and website launches. His detailed knowledge on the day-to-day operations includes experience in ISO 9001 businesses.

His businesses have a proven record of growth and value maximisation across a variety of industries. This is through Mitch’s management, leadership and execution of customer-facing initiatives. Currently, he is the Managing Director of five businesses across Oceania.
